About Barbara from Josies Botanicals

Barbara has always felt her best in nature, inspired by the positive effects of plants and their ability to heal.  As a holistic therapist, she knows first hand the healing power of pure and natural ingredients to reduce the effects of stress and pollution on both body and mind.

Growing up in a family of 11 children, her mother Josie had a cure for any ailment; she soothed allergies,  scars and burns etc with natural remedies passed down through generations of wise and knowledgeable women.

As a practitioner of holistic therapies, reflexology & massage, Barbara sees how synthetic chemicals can disrupt the delicate balance of hormones in the body. Over the years, she found it impossible to source products that used 100% pure and natural ingredients to use on sensitive or compromised skin.

Eventually drawing on her heritage, she blended the purest organic active ingredients and essential oils to create precise formulations to meet everyday skin concerns. She tested these formulations on friends and family and their symptoms markedly improved. My inner circle loved the products so much, that they wanted to buy them.
